Serenity Equine and CFMEF Remember...

Pearl

Pearl's Resting Place

There are so many moments of joy in my life
that I attribute to my time spent with Pearl.

She was a spirit of refined dignity, tenderness and mercy.

We would let her out of her stall every morning,
and before going outside to eat grass,
she would check on all the other horses in the hospital.

There was something so particularly special about her…
her gentleness, her white coat that shone in the dark,
her little whinney of greeting when I came to her,
her way of making the taste of a peppermint
greater than any food on this earth.

She is sorely missed.

Monster,
Thank you for the all of the days that you gave me
and the times that you saved me.

You are my hero…my greatest love of all.

Our bond can never be broken, for our hearts and souls are one.

I will love you until the end of the world.
