Our Horse Rescue--Cashvan Family Memorial Equine Fund (CFMEF)
Laminitis, the #2 killer of horses worldwide, does not actually kill horses -- Ignorance and Economics kill horses.
We can help stop the ignorance through continued research, but research takes money. Private hospitals do not receive grant money, and must depend on the generosity of the public. We've made great headway, but we have far to go. CFMEF, which operates at Serenity Equine, makes it possible to advance our important research.
Please read on to find out how you can make a difference...

Please Help!
We have a constant need for funding. The horses are very grateful for any and all help. Unlike some organizations, 100% of every dollar given goes directly to the horses in the CFMEF program and, your donation is tax deductible.
All the funds that we use to rescue these horses must come from you. Every cent you spend is directly spent on medicines, surgical supplies, feed, bedding and general needs of the patient. Without your support, we cannot survive. Every horse takes thousands of dollars to heal. With surgery, rehabilitation, bandaging, feeding, worming, vaccinating....well you get the idea.......and WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP.
A check can be mailed to Serenity Equine at 2954 Evington Rd, Evington Va. 24550. Please include your return address so we can send you a tax-deductible receipt.
There are other ways to support CFMEF listed below -- we appreciate your help. Together, we can make a difference!

Our amputees (Gideon and Jack) have permanent homes at Serenity Equine. We would love to share their stories with you, as well as list the horses ready for their new Forever Home. A modest administrative fee of $ 250 is charged for adoptions to approved homes only. |
