Podiatry 101: "Reading and Evaluating Radiographs for the Veterinary/Farrier Team"

This course is designed to give the veterinarian and/or farrier the knowledge necessary to read and interpret radiographs on an everyday basis.

Topics Covered:

  • Taking a correct Soft Tissue Radiograph
  • Radiographic Anatomy of the Hoof and its Definition and Protocol
  • Club feet, negative palmar angle syndroe, laminitis, proper digital alignment
  • Understanding Venograms
  • Applying Your Knowledge

This course will be pre-requisite for 201: Shoeing and Trimming by Radiographic Technique
